Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using strongmindyourbody.info. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The list above jumps straight to each part of the agreement. Every part carries the same weight; nothing here is optional or separate from the rest.

What this site is, and what it never was

1. About the site

Strong Mind Your Body is an informational website publishing editorial content about food, nutrition and men's health in the UK. The site does not sell products, does not operate user accounts, and does not provide medical services of any kind.

Everything you read here — pumpkin seeds, walnuts, green tea, oily fish, Mediterranean-style eating — is written as general reading material. We do not take orders, hold stock, take payments through the site, or hold any account or password for you. There is no members area behind a login and no shop basket that follows you between pages.

2. Informational purpose only

All content on this site is general information. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have received, because of something you have read here. If you have a health concern, contact your GP.

Articles, food lists and meal suggestions are written for a general adult readership in the United Kingdom. They do not account for your own medical history, medication, allergies or dietary restrictions, and no page on this site is checked before you read it. If a topic touches something you are already being treated for, treat this site as background reading only and speak to the professional who knows your case.

If you need urgent help, contact NHS 111 or your GP practice. Nothing on strongmindyourbody.info replaces that call.

Reading, quoting and sharing this site

Two rules sit at the centre of everyday use: do not break the site, and do not pass our words off as your own work.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with normal operation, submitting unlawful or misleading content through forms, or scraping content at scale. We may restrict access where misuse is detected.

In plain terms: read as much as you like, but leave the servers alone. Automated bulk copying, probing for weaknesses, and anything that slows the site down for other readers all count as misuse, and we may block a connection or a network where that happens.

5. Intellectual property

Text and original material published on this site belong to Strong Mind Your Body unless stated otherwise. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to pages. Republishing substantial parts of the content without permission is not allowed.

A short quotation in a blog post, a lesson, or a conversation is fine when you say where it came from and link to the page. Copying whole articles, running them behind another domain, or feeding the text into a service that republishes it is not.

3. No guarantees of outcome

We make no guarantee that any food, dietary pattern or suggestion described on this site will produce a particular result for you. Nutrition affects people differently, and outcomes depend on factors outside the scope of a website. Any decision you take based on this content is your own.

That is why this site talks about everyday food rather than promised results. A handful of pumpkin seeds, a walnut snack or a mug of green tea is a small, repeatable habit — not a switch. What you eat sits alongside sleep, activity, stress, medication and the medical conditions you may already carry, and we cannot see any of those from here.

6. External links

The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Links are provided for reference and do not imply endorsement.

A link to a study, a public health page or a supplier of seeds is there so you can read further — it is not a recommendation of that organisation, its products, or the way it handles your data once you leave our pages. Check the terms and privacy notice of any site you visit next.

The parts that protect both sides

Liability, revisions to this agreement, and where a dispute would be heard.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version applies from the date shown on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

The date at the top of this page tells you which version you are reading. If a change matters — for example, if we ever added a contact form that collects personal details — we would say so plainly here and link to the relevant policy rather than quietly rewording a paragraph.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from use of the site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If a clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement still stands. Reading these terms alongside our privacy policy gives you the full picture of how the site runs and what we do with the limited information we hold.

Questions readers send us

Short answers to the points that come up most often about these terms.

Can I quote something from your site in my own work?

Yes. Quote a short passage, name Strong Mind Your Body as the source, and link back to the page you used. What we ask you not to do is lift whole articles, run them on another domain, or republish the text at length.

Does reading this site create any kind of patient relationship?

No. Strong Mind Your Body publishes general reading material about food and nutrition. Reading it does not make anyone here your clinician, dietitian or adviser, and it does not change the advice you already receive from the person treating you.

Where do I send a question about these terms?

Write to us at 42 High Street, London, EC1A 4JN, email [email protected], or call +44 20 7910 3437 during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. You can also send a message through our contact page.

Do these terms cover the linked guides on the site?

Yes. The same terms apply to every page on strongmindyourbody.info, including our guides on foods for men's vitality, zinc and selenium, Mediterranean-style eating and everyday meal ideas. One agreement covers the whole site.

If something here is unclear

Send a message and we will explain the clause in ordinary language. We answer questions about these terms before we answer anything else, because the agreement only works if you can actually read it.
